Castle Quay office makeover wins top prize at Construction Awards

Tuesday 26 September 2023

The Castle Quay office refurbishment project was awarded the 'Project of the Year' award in the 'under £2 million' category during the recent Jersey Construction Council Awards.

The awards, which took place on Saturday 23 September at the Royal Jersey Showground, celebrated the achievements of businesses in the island’s construction industry.

The refurbishment saw a dramatic overhaul of the former Tiffin’s site, with quality and environmental considerations at the core of the design.

The plans made the most of the available space, providing an extra 3,600 sq feet of usable area.

This revitalisation injected vibrancy into a previously vacant space, the renovators said, which had been unoccupied for quite some time due to the pandemic.

The successful execution of this project was a joint effort, with the main contractor, Style Interiors, working closely alongside technology company, Prosperity 24/7.

The team also included Axis Mason, Colin Smith Partnership, and Rothwell.

Mark Greenfield, Managing Director of Style Interiors, said: “We were delighted to win this project as it was a very challenging design.

"As a company, we are always looking to carry out projects of the highest quality and ensure the client’s expectations are met.”
