Compliance Officer appointed at Alex Picot Trust

A compliance and risk specialist with over 30 years of experience has joined Alex Picot Trust to undertake key compliance and risk management roles.

Keith Hood has joined Alex Picot Trust as Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO).

Mr Hood is a Certified Professional and Fellow of the International Compliance Association and previously held the position of Chairman of the Jersey Compliance Officers Association (JCOA) from 2010 to 2011. Within his new role, he will lead a team of three compliance professionals.

Prior to joining the independent Jersey trust company, he gained experience over three decades working within senior regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), fraud and risk management roles across the offshore finance sector.

Andrew Le Cheminant, Director of Alex Picot Trust, said: “Keith has extensive experience and his practical knowledge of applying the laws, regulations and industry best practice across multiple jurisdictions certainly strengthens our existing compliance monitoring capacity.

"As an independent Jersey trust company, we greatly value the experience he brings to us and we welcome him on board.”
