French might be known as the language of love but one French shopkeeper knows that not everyone wants to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Aurelien Buard who runs Le Shop in Trinity, near the Trinity Arms, and sells lots of French produce is organising a less romantic dinner this weekend for singletons and those who just want to have some fun instead.
After some French wine tasting and some mingling on Friday night at the Royal Jersey Showground, Aurelien has organised a three-course French style dinner so if you find the whole thought of Valentine’s Day really cheesy you can tuck into a big cake made of French cheese instead!
French DJ Stefunk will be on the decks to provide the music and the fun starts at 7 pm. Aurelien has even organised a shuttle from Liberation Station in town at 6.30 pm to help get you there.
You can get tickets for the event here.
