RBC Wealth Management and Rowlands Recruitment are the first to be acknowledged with a new award recognising the commitment of companies to good corporate citizenship and responsible business practices.
Since its launch in November, 30 companies have applied to receive the Good Business Charter.
Their applications are assessed by a council of 13 senior business leaders who affirmed their commitment to 'good business' across the five areas of the Charter: people, environment, community, suppliers and customers.
Brendan McMahon (pictured), Chairman of the Board of the Good Business Charter, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that RBC Wealth Management and Rowlands Recruitment, two very different businesses operating in different sectors, have both been recognised for the high standards they have set themselves. I applaud the leaders of these excellent businesses for their pioneering of this new initiative.”
The Jersey Good Business Charter is also launching a new membership network for individuals who are committed the values of Good Business in Jersey. The network will host a number of events featuring local and internationally-renowned speakers.
