Jersey Finance appoints new Business Development Director

Jersey Finance has appointed Tom Powell as Business Development Director for funds.

Mr Powell, who is based in Jersey, will be promoting the island's funds sector for managers seeking to market into both mainland Europe and to the UK post-Brexit, while offering flexibility to access markets beyond Europe.

Prior to starting his new role, Mr Powell was Head of Sales and Investor Relations at Altis Partners with input on the investment committee and brings 16 years of accumulated trading, sales and asset raising experience in the funds sector. He has a BA hons in Business in Europe and studied a Maitrise in Commerce Internationale at the Université Blaise Pascale, Clermont Ferrand and is fluent in French and Italian.
