JTC Group has opened a second office in the United States, adding New York City to the one in Miami.

The New York office will operate as part of JTC Group Americas, headed by the Managing Director of the North American region, Emilio Miguel.

JTC Group appointed Paul Mower as Director of the New York office earlier this year.   Prior to joining the group he was was a director and head of wealth planning for Deutsche Bank in the Americas.

Originally from the UK, Mr Mower worked in both Jersey and Geneva before moving to New York in 2008.  Nydia Deyne, who also has significant experience in financial services, including wealth planning and fiduciary services, has joined the New York office from Citi Bank.

Mr Mower said: “I am delighted to be part of JTC’s exciting growth plans and the New York office will allow us to access the client and intermediary community in one of the world’s leading financial centres. Many Latin American and international clients have close ties with the city and it provides an outstanding platform from which to offer our suite of private client, corporate, fund and real estate services.”

JTC Group Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Nigel Le Quesne welcomed Mr Mower and Ms Deyne to the team.

He said: ‘In particular, Paul brings a wealth of experience and knowledge and a great understanding of the US market, which will undoubtedly be an asset as we continue to build our footprint in the Americas region.”
