JTC takes on new Chief Risk Officer

Thursday 12 November 2020

JTC has appointed a new Chief Risk Officer, who will have responsibility for the governance of risk management and regulatory compliance across the company's 23 offices in 19 jurisdictions.

Richard Ingle, who has more than three decades of financial services experience, will be based in Jersey.

He has held a number of roles over the years ranging from asset management to private backing and compliance, and has previously worked at the UK Financial Services Authority, JPMorgan and, most recently, Standard Chartered, where he was CEO for nine years.

JTC CEO Nigel Le Quesne said the firm was "delighted" to welcome Mr Ingle, adding: "...The role of CRO is both essential and highly strategic within the business. Richard is a talented executive with an enormous amount of experience and expertise and we are pleased to have attracted someone of his calibre to join the Group as we continue into our fourth decade of growth based on delivering client service excellence and maintaining the highest standards."
