Law At Work introduces fire safety assessments

Friday 16 August 2019

Law At Work has added Fire Risk Assessments to their range of Health and Safety services, following a growing demand from local businesses.

The firm said that increasing numbers of insurance companies are requesting Fire Risk Assessments (FRA), which while not currently required under Jersey legislation are recognised as best practice and advised by H&S professionals.

LAW previously offered FRA alongside other related Health and Safety procedures, but will now offer them as an independent service to businesses who are looking to take a pro-active approach towards fire safety.

Deano Davey, LAW Health and Safety Business Partner, said: "We take pride in the start to finish H&S services we can provide our clients, however, we also recognise that there is a place for individual procedures such as FRA’s, so we are pleased to officially put this in place.”

He continued: “Aside from the obvious reasons to undertake a FRA for your business premises, these assessments can often be important in other ways, such as acquiring insurance, so it really is a valuable service for clients pan-island.”
