A local lawyer and charity governor with almost 20 years’ experience in civil and criminal law has been appointed as a specialist Personal Law Advocate at Livingstones.
Martin Elks provides advice and support in all aspects of civil and criminal law including family matters, personal injury, employment, health and safety and small business matters both company and commercial.
He regularly appears in the island’s courts and is authorised to act as Duty Advocate in the Magistrate’s and Youth Courts and to provide out of hours advice to those in police custody.
He is also a governor of a Jersey-based children's charity and a member of the Charities Appeal Tribunal.
