Fund services provider Moore Management has achieved a prestigious global assurance standard accreditation.
Adding to the firm’s level one accreditation from 2015, Moore Management has now earned an esteemed International Standard on Assurance Engagements Type II award.
Developed by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, the assurance standard recognises companies that demonstrate that their control environment meets a standard able to provide users with “reasonable assurance”.
Issued by PwC, the type II accreditation acknowledges the establishment and operation of internal controls to achieve control objectives.
Jon Trigg (pictured), Moore’s Head of Global Fund Services, described the accreditation as a “fantastic achievement.”
He added: “[It] is the natural way for us to demonstrate to our clients, investors and counterparties just how robust and effective our internal control environment is. Coupled with the significant technological developments we have implemented in recent years, this provides us with a fantastic foundation on which we can continue to develop our global service offering.
“The project has required commitment, expertise and cross-jurisdictional cooperation between team members from all areas of our business, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank PwC and all of the team involved for their incredible hard work and enthusiasm throughout.”
