NatWest make senior appointment

Wednesday 16 April 2014

NatWest has appointed Jeff Williams senior director of retail and premium banking, with responsibility for leading the teams providing the bank’s premium and retail services in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

His career in banking began with RBS Group in 1989 and covered many roles in "high street" banking including branch manager and area sales manager positions.

Mr Williams said it was his objective to ensure NatWEst continued to provide high levels of service to all our customers, to support the 270 staff who work in the premium and retail branches in the four jurisdictions and ensure that the bank is the brand of choice when new customers are deciding where to bank on the high street.

He moved to the Channel Islands in 2008 when he was appointed regional manager, retail banking at RBS International in Guernsey and in 2009 he was appointed to his previous post of head of retail branches in Jersey.

The Managing Director of NatWest retail and international personal banking, Steve Camm, said: "Jeff’s long and wide ranging experience in the retail banking environment, first in the UK and then more recently in senior positions across the Channel Islands, together with his drive in ensuring we retain high service standards, make him an ideal candidate to lead our retail and premium bank offerings."
