Romerils has appointed Kim Royle as the company's new HR Manager.
Miss Royle is taking up the reins from Linda Pratesi who is retiring after having led the company's HR department for the last 15 years.
She is Jersey born and recently relocated to the Island after achieving an Msc in Human Resource Management at Brighton University.
She attended Jersey College for Girls before gaining a BA in Education (BPS Psychology) at Cardiff University after which she moved to Brighton.
While studying for her Msc, Miss Royle worked at The Eventa Group as their HR Manager,.
Romerils recently won the CIPD Gold Money Award for ‘Best Learning and Development Strategy’ with their Romerils Development Programme and Miss Royle will be utilising her skills to expand the programme further, whilst working with the managers and their teams in all areas of HR, training and development.
Romerils Managing Director Steve Jewell said: “Kim is joining us at a fantastic time when there are so many challenges and changes, and to have such an ambitious and professional colleague like Kim, will ensure our HR function continues to invest in quality people to deliver our business strategies.
“Later in the year Linda will begin her well-earned retirement after 15 years of heading up our HR Department, it’s very comforting to know the reins are being passed on from one great professional to another."
