A local business is trying to put its staff back in touch with nature and get to embrace the outdoors.
Optimus Recruitment are heeding Durrell's call to ‘Rewild’ and are using nature to improve employee wellbeing.
Optimus were one of the first companies to put in place a ‘Rewild’ strategy to get their staff outdoors more and explore Jersey’s environment.
Jamie Guyer, Managing Director of Optimus Recruitment, said: “As recruiters, we now see a variety of wellbeing benefits offered within employee packages and felt it would set a good example to get behind Durrell’s new campaign. Longer working hours and higher targets mean we are all under more pressure during our working day, all the more reason to welcome initiatives such as Durrell’s that allow us to get away from it all.

“Jersey is such a wonderful Island to live and work on, something that we as a team are careful to never take for granted.
"Durell’s campaign to ‘Rewild’ Islanders through a better understanding of the benefits of our natural world is something we fully support, not only to encourage more to invest in convservation but also for the vast health and mental benefits it offers."
