Fund administrator Saltgate has appointed a former talent strategy consultant as its first ever Chief People Officer.
Alison French joined the firm last year as a consultant to increase employee engagement.
In her new role, she will sit on the Group Strategic Committee to oversee recruitment, diversity, culture and communications.
Prior to joining Saltgate, Ms French ran her own talent strategy consultancy, following a career in companies including Goldman Sachs and Citadel.
She said she was “delighted to be joining the Saltgate family – particularly now, when helping people reach their best during challenging times is paramount.”
CEO Simon Riley added that her appointment was “an important step for Saltgate.”
He added: “With Alison joining as Chief People Officer, we’re entering a new phase – she has the right skills and experience to supercharge engagement across every part of our organisation, and make sure we support our people in the best way every day.”
