Stock Market Challenge won by The Wolves of Bath Street

The inaugural Ashburton Investments Stock Market Challenge has been won by The Wolves of Bath Street.

The team from Royal Bank of Canada fought off strong competition from 20 other teams made up of financial services firms from across the Channel Islands and specially invited guests.

Andrew Blake, Alex Gavriel, Ed Loader, Andy Maxwell and Danny Guy were the members of the winning team and each was assigned a different role, such as floor trader and investment analyst, while trading in the markets during the course of the evening.

The Stock Market Challenge, hosted by Ashburton Investments at the Hotel de France, was created to give investors an insight into the volatility that has characterised 2016, as well as how markets react to shock events.

The Wolves of Bath Street were presented with the trophy by Ashburton Investments’ International CEO, Stephen Kelso.
