Suntera Global receives ACCA accreditation

Tuesday 09 August 2022

Suntera Global has received recognition from a global accountancy body for the support it provides to employees working towards their professional qualifications.

The firm has been re-accredited as a Platinum Approved Employer by the Association for Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for Trainee Development.

In addition, Suntera Global has been awarded ACCA Approved Employer status for Practising Certificate Development, in recognition of the support provided to ACCA members who are training towards an ACCA practising certificate.

The ACCA Approved Employer Scheme is designed to recognise and reward employers for the quality of their staff training and focus on professional development. In achieving Approved Employer status, firms can demonstrate that they are meeting the highest standards as employers in supporting staff and helping them to further their careers.

As well as providing support through professional qualifications such as ACCA across its private wealth, corporate and funds service lines, Suntera Global also operates a Training Academy, providing interactive eLearning courses on a broad range of subjects, with staff completing more than 2,500 courses through the platform each year.

Commenting on the re-accreditation, Sharon De Mendonca, Chief People Officer at Suntera Global (pictured top), said: “A core part of our philosophy is that personal and professional development never stops, and our aim is to empower employees to achieve their full potential by supporting them throughout their career journeys, providing them with diverse training opportunities to help them grow and thrive.

“With that in mind, I’m delighted that ACCA has once again recognised us as an Accredited Employer, in particular at a Platinum level, for trainee development as we continue to support our staff to reach their full potential professionally."
