Usage of a research and governance tool for the trust and adviser community has surged to more than 200 advice businesses as a result of significant recent investment in the platform.
The Managed Portfolio Indices (MPI) service, which is free to use for STEP members and professional advisers, became independent from Enhance Group Limited in 2018.
The platform provides trustees and financial advisers with tools to assist them with the selection and appointment of discretionary investment managers.
The most recent addition to the service has been an Investment Policy Statement drafting tool, which allows users to create comprehensive Policy Statements in minutes.
James Hoare, Managing Director of MPI, commented: The benefits of using discretionary investment managers are increasingly understood and we are delighted to be able to provide excellent research and governance tools to the trust and adviser community in order to assist them with assessing discretionary providers."
Mark Walley, STEP Chief Executive, added: "We have been pleased with the positive response to the upgraded platform, which this surge in users clearly demonstrates. We look forward to the continued evolution of this important STEP member service."
