Two local businesses offering yoga classes and pilates have joined forces under the Kalimukti brand to increase their offering.
Calli De La Haye (Kalimukti) and Ashley Cummins (MOVE) will be teaming up from tomorrow to share their passion for yoga and pilates with the local community.
‘Kalimukti’ translates to empowerment and freedom, which the team say symbolises their belief in finding freedom through movement and welcomes people of all ages and abilities to give yoga and pilates a go.
Ms De La Haye said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Ashley. These are exciting times for Kalimukti as we will soon be moving to our new, improved studio to home our growing business. We look forward to embarking on this new chapter with our amazing team.”

Ms Cummins added: “I’m so excited to be given the opportunity to join such a respected yoga business, which already has a great variety of talented teachers, who are knowledgeable, kind, caring and passionate about what they do. We have lots to look forward to together and can’t wait to reveal the new premises which is going to be such a sanctuary!”
The Kalimukti combined offering will include both studio-based classes at West Centre in St. Helier, as well as private and corporate classes across the island. Regular classes will continue at the studio, with new options to be unveiled following Ms Cummins' arrival, including MOGA (Yoga for Men) courses and Mama and Baby pilates.
