Grouville Parish Assembly

Description

An assembly of the principals and electors of the parish will be held in the Parish Church on Monday 11 December 2023 at 7pm to:

• issue apologies
• receive and if deemed advisable, approve the minutes of the Parish Assembly held on 29 November 2023
  
• decide whether the Parish should acquire, as a gift from its owner, Field G506. To authorise the Connétable and Procureurs to appear in the Royal Court to exchange the contract for this land
• in conformity with Article 32 of the Rates (Jersey) Law 2005, elect a member of the Assessment Committee for a term of three years, the Term of Office of Philip Barber being due to expire
• in conformity with Article 5 of the Loi (1914) sur la Voirie, elect 3 Principals residing in the Parish to act as members of the Roads Committee for a term of 3 years
• in conformity with Article 5 of the Loi (1914) sur la Voirie, elect 2 Roads Inspectors for each of the Vingtaines of Des Marais, De Longueville, De La Rocque, and De la Rue for a term of 3 years

The minutes of the previous Parish Assembly are available at the Parish Hall and at grouville.je.

The accounts and estimates will be available midday at the Parish Hall on Thursday 23 November 2023 and will be uploaded on the website the same day.

Due to the renovations being carried out at the Parish Hall, the venue of the meeting being Grouville Parish Church rather than the Parish Hall.
