St Helier Liberation Day Celebrations 2019

Description

All Islanders who were present at the Liberation of Jersey on May 9th 1945 and those who liberated us, including past and present members of the Armed Forces, are invited to apply for places at the ‘Liberation Breakfast’ to be held in the Assembly Room at St Helier Town Hall on Thursday 9 May 2019 from 7.30am until 9.30am, by permission of the Connétable of St Helier.

St Helier Parishioners who were resident during the Occupation or were Evacuees or Internees or members of the Armed forces are invited to apply for tickets for the ‘Liberation Day Afternoon Tea’ to be held in the Town Hall Assembly Room on Thursday 9 May 2019 from 3pm to 5pm. As well as afternoon tea there will be a raffle in aid of the British Red Cross and community singing.

Application forms for tickets are available from the Town Hall reception.
