St Helier Parish Assembly

Description

An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of St. Helier will be held at 7pm on Wednesday 30 November 2022 at the Town Hall.

Parishioners are asked to take into consideration and, if deemed advisable:

  1. to approve the Minutes of the Parish Assembly held on 10 November 2022
  2. to elect a Constable’s Officer for the Canton de Haut de la Vingtaine de la Ville
  3. in accordance with Article 32 of the Rates (Jersey) Law 2005, to elect a minimum of 1 person to act as a member of the Assessment Committee for a term of 3 years
  4. to approve a recommendation of the Roads Committee and Procureurs du Bien Public to accept a gift of a section of land alongside the Horizon site, La Rue de L’Etau, for the purpose of creating a new public footpath and unloading bay. The Assembly is to instruct the Connétable and at least one Procureur du Bien Public to pass a contract, with the owner paying all reasonable legal costs associated with the transfer P.04/2022
  5. to recommend to the Licensing Assembly the following applications for licences for the year 2023 in virtue of the Licensing (Jersey) Law 1974:
