St Peter Rates Annual Return 2020

Description

Each owner of land in the parish has been served with a notice to make a return of all land, houses, buildings and other structures owned at 1 January 2020.

Any owner who has not received a notice and return should contact the Connetable immediately.

By virtue of this notice each owner shall be taken to have been served with a notice and it shall not be an excuse for non-compliance for an owner to show that a notice was not served on them.

Any person who has failed without reasonable cause to make a return by 29 January 2020 is guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding £1,000. A person charged with this offence may be dealt with at a parish hall enquiry and may accept a fine not exceeding £200.
