St Peters Electoral and Parish Assembly

Description

Nomination meetings will be held at St Peters Parish hall as set out below to receive nominations of persons wishing to be a candidate in each election.

In each election:

• if there are more candidates than vacancies, a poll will be held on Wednesday 9 December 2020
• if there are not more candidates than vacancies, any duly nominated candidate will be declared elected at the nomination meeting

The closing date for registering to vote in each election is midday on the day BEFORE the nomination meeting.

Each election is for a 3 year term of office expiring December 2023

Paroisse de St Pierre

7pm on Tuesday 10 November 2020 at the Parish Hall election for Centenier

A Parish Assembly will be held from 7.15pm to invite Principals and Electors of the Parish to :

1. receive, and if deemed advisable, approve the Act of the Parish Assembly held on Tuesday 7 July 2020(previously unapproved)

2. receive and if deemed advisable, approve the Act of the Parish Assembly held on 28 July 2020

3. elect a Roads Inspector for Vingtaine Coin Varin, to complete the term of office of the previous holder as they no longer live in the Parish

4. elect a member of the Rates Assessment Committee, for a period of three years, the term of office due to expire

5. elect a Chairperson for St Peters Youth & Community Centre, for a period of three years, the term of office due to expire

6. elect a Treasurer for St Peters Youth & Community Centre, for a period of three years, the term of office having expired

7. elect an Officers du Connetable for Vingtaine St Nicolas, for a period of three years, the term of office due to expire.
