Employees from Moore Stephens have taken part in a fundraising run for Cancer Research.
A team of 40 runners from Moore Stephens took part in the annual Cancer Research UK Run4Men which this year was held in memory of Justin Cotillard, the late husband of Moore Stephens employee Emma Cotillard.
The event took place on Sunday 10th September in St Helier and the team contributed to the total of £7,000 raised with the assistance of Moore Stephens in connection with the run. All funds raised from the event will contribute towards the Cancer Research UK centre in Southampton.
Angus Taylor, CEO of Moore Stephens in Jersey said: “The wet weather on the day didn't manage to dampen the team’s spirits. We’re very proud of all our runners and walkers who completed either the 5k or 10k course in good time.
“This is a fantastic sum raised for a great cause.”
Run4Men returned for its 7th year in Jersey. The sporting challenge is raising funds for research into new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
Run4Men was created in order to provide an event for men who wanted to take part in a similar event to the popular Race For Life.
