The Alliance Française de Jersey team is pleased to announce a last painting workshop as part of the Jersey Zoo project, Durrell's "Tortoise Takeover".

This event will take place at the Alliance française and will aim to involve the participants in the final stage of painting the tortoise sculpture named "Lulu". In the second part, and depending on progress, a short film in French will be screened.

Participation fees in this workshop will be used to fund Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust for the construction of a space reserved for tortoises at the Jersey Zoo as well as for raising awareness concerning endangered species.

The workshop is open to anyone aged 8-12 no need to be an Alliance Française student or member. The event will take place on Wednesday April 5 at the Alliance française de Jersey at 2 p.m., this event is accessible for the price of £20 by reservation.

You can follow the adventures of Lulu la tortue on Facebook and Instagram or make a donation. Other Tortoise related events will be organised during the year. More information to come on: https://www.afjersey.com/culture/
