Leading independent fund and corporate services provider, the Aztec Group, has won Fund Administrator of the Year at The Private Equity Awards.
Hosted by Real Deals, The Private Equity Awards recognises the best in European private equity and is one of the industry’s biggest annual events. Now in its eighteenth year, this year’s awards ceremony, which was held at the London Hilton on Park Lane on 24 April, attracted more than 250 GPs and a total of over 700 delegates from across Europe.
Aztec Group was awarded Fund Administrator of the Year by a judging panel made up of some of the industry’s leading advisers. The award recognises success in client value-creation through the use of technology, an understanding of ever-changing regulation, and best-in-class reporting and analysis.
It is the second major accolade for the Aztec Group in recent months, following its success at the British Private Equity Awards, where it was also named Fund Administrator of the Year.
This year represents another period of significant organic growth for the Group, with over 360 funds, 4,000 entities and €320bn now under administration. The Group’s employee base has also grown in that time to over 800 people.
Alan Ross, Group Head of Private Equity, said:
“We’re delighted to win this prestigious award, which recognises both the outstanding service that our teams deliver to our clients, day-in day-out, and the ongoing investment that we continue to make in the development of our people and the enhancement of our operating platform. As always, it’s pleasing to see our efforts and endeavours acknowledged by senior figures in the industry, and I’d like to pass my congratulations on to our exceptional teams for their role in another fantastic year for the business.”
