At 6.00pm on Monday 9th April 2018 the Very Reverend Mike Keirle, Dean of Jersey and Chaplain to St John Ambulance, Jersey will bless the latest new ambulance to be received by St John Ambulance, Jersey whereupon it will then be used for public events.

The latest state of the art ambulance has been kindly provided by funds from the Association of Jersey Charities and the Island Walk with Rotary Club de la Manche.

St John Ambulance, Jersey continues to have a full range of public duties for 2018 and in 2017 we attended 167 public duties and treated 336 casualties, of which only 27 had to go to hospital.

The Fiat Ambulance has been decorated with the logos of the sponsors and maintains the number of ambulances in our fleet to four. All St John Ambulance vehicles are maintained to a similar specification as the States of Jersey Ambulances and under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ambulance Service are available to them as back up should operational needs for more vehicles and assistance arise.
