BPP Professional Education are delighted to announce that two more of their ICSA students have achieved exceptional exam success.

Hayley Beer, Company Secretariat Manager at BAE Systems, won the CR Heathcock prize for best Financial Reporting and Analysis CSQS paper worldwide in the November 2013 sitting. Hayley lives in the UK and as she is unable to attend face to face classes, she chose to use BPP’s Online Classroom (OCR) Live study option.

“I’ve used the BPP OCR Live courses for all of my ICSA exams so far and I’ve found it a really good way to work my studies into my life. I like that I don’t have to travel somewhere after work and can study at my desk, or take the course at home if I want to. It’s a different way of learning, but I was impressed with how interactive it is and how ‘normal’ it felt once I got started. I was most nervous about doing a finance module online as I thought I’d much prefer a face to face course. However it was no different really and the benefit was that I could re-watch the lectures online again. I found this incredibly helpful as I could pause it and re-wind, which you can’t do in a face to face course when you get stuck at home afterwards! The methods that BPP taught for the FRA exam were clearly spot on and I was delighted to receive the CR Heathcock prize.”

Nicole Chapon, an Administrator at Ogier Fiduciary Services, received the prize for achieving the highest score worldwide in the Offshore Business Environment paper at Certificate level in July 2013 and has also just received the same prize for the Investment paper that she sat in February 2014. She started her Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration qualification with BPP in 2013, attending face to face classes, and is continuing her studies at BPP in Jersey.

Natalie Dimond, MD at BPP since 2013, said “Our tutors work hard to prepare students for their exams and when they receive awards the tutors are as delighted as the students. That Hayley won such a prestigious award and studied via OCR Live, which utilizes live webinars, really reinforces the effectiveness of this as a study option.”
