Emma Wolpert has completed the ACCA qualification and achieved chartered certified status with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Ms Wolpert joined Moore Stephens in 2012, as an audit trainee, and latterly has worked as a key member of the accountancy team. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Aberdeen.

Gaining chartered accountant status is recognition of professionalism, knowledge and experience. The ACCA qualification has a strong focus on professional values, ethics and governance. This is essential as the accountancy profession moves towards strengthened codes of conduct, regulation and legislation.

During the training, candidates build the technical knowledge, professional skills and practical experience needed to become an ACCA Chartered Certified Accountant. Professionalism and ethics is examined at the highest level in the ACCA Qualification and is also a main part of the practical experience candidates must complete to qualify.

Phillip Callow, partner at Moore Stephens said: “It’s a great achievement to have obtained chartered accountant status and we are very pleased to have supported Emma in her work towards this qualification. Emma is committed to developing her skills and bettering herself and this is very fitting as it emphasises her expertise and willingness to expand her knowledge.”

Emma Wolpert said: “Doing the ACCA qualification was a fantastic opportunity and the support and guidance the membership offers is now vital to my working life. The qualification not only gave me the chance to expand upon my knowledge of accountancy but also gave me the benefit of having a professional accreditation, especially in such a fast paced and ever changing environment.”
