Collas Crill is expanding its London office to provide international legal advice direct to the financial services, private wealth and e-gaming markets in the capital.

Collas Crill is expanding its London office to provide international legal advice direct to the financial services, private wealth and e-gaming markets in the capital.

Two senior lawyers from the firm will work from the Bishopsgate office from December, bringing specific offshore legal expertise to supplement the firm's relationship management function in the UK.

Collas Crill's London office is its second outside the Channel Islands. In 2011 Collas Crill was the first firm to offer Channel Islands law from Singapore.

Collas Crill managing partner Jason Romer said: "We are placing specialist lawyers closer to our key clients and intermediaries in London as we continue to expand our international business. This allows us to respond even more rapidly to client needs, particularly where face-to-face discussions are required, and to work more closely with London firms doing business in Asia through our office in Singapore."

Consultant Edward Stone is well known as a specialist in trusts and foundations. He is named on Citywealth's Honours List for his extensive international experience in complex fiduciary structuring for wealthy families. He is moving to Collas Crill's London office to work closely with those clients and their advisers to make both Guernsey and Jersey's fiduciary structuring immediately accessible.

Jason Romer added: "As private clients become more international and sophisticated and their affairs ever more complex, London, with its depth of leading expert intermediaries, remains the most significant hub for wealth planning advice worldwide.

Susan O'Leary, a senior associate in Collas Crill's corporate team, works on a range of investment funds, banking and financial services matters and has a particular focus on e-commerce and e-gaming.

Jason Romer said: "A significant number of clients and intermediaries involved in the firm's business areas are based in, or travel through, London and the move will bring us closer to our clients and their needs."

From 2 December 2013 Collas Crill's London office will be based at:
288 Bishopsgate
London
EC2M 4QP
