The teams at both of Jersey’s Hand Picked Hotels are bubbling with excitement after hearing the news they are finalists in the prestigious Good Spa Guide Awards 2017.
The AA Four Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa has been nominated for ‘Best Day Spa’ while the AA Five Star Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa in St Helier is up for ‘Best Urban Spa’.
Finalists are chosen by specially appointed Good Spa Spies who check into over 100 spas every year, carrying out rigorous reviews, assessing them on their cleanliness, tidiness, customer service, standard of their facilities and treatments.
The final award winners are chosen by members of the public. Last year L’Horizon won ‘Best Spa for Families’ and both hotels were listed with four bubbles, the Guide’s mark of a great spa.
Commenting on the nomination, L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa Manager Matt Riley said: “We’re delighted to be up for an award again in this prestigious national competition which rates L’Horizon and Grand Jersey amongst the very best spas in the UK.
“Four bubbles are only given to those who provide guests with an excellent spa experience, combining lovely facilities with luxurious treatments and lavish lunches and our spa teams strive to do just that every day.”
L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, which was recently awarded four AA Red Stars for their superior level of quality and high standards, has a stylish spa and health club, with a well equipped gym, an indoor 15 metre pool, a spa pool, sauna and steam room, plus six treatment rooms.
The Spa at Grand Jersey has a range of VIP, twin and single treatment rooms, an indoor heated pool and experience shower.
The winners of the Good Spa Guide Awards 2017 will be announced at a Gala Dinner at the Spa Life International (UK) Convention in Birmingham, a conference for spa professionals, on 14th November.
