In this fast-paced world, living a healthy lifestyle can be a challenge. Faced with increasing numbers of fast food options, trying to maintain a regular fitness programme, as well as keeping ourselves mentally strong, can take a toll on our short and long-term health. That’s why we’re introducing a new experience on to the high street called Balance – the Wellbeing Supermarket.
Based on the first floor above Tesco Alliance at Walker House, Halkett Street, Balance will open its doors to the public on Friday 17th November and will provide an inclusive location to shop for products that are good for you, your family and the environment.
The name Balance was the obvious choice for our new store since it embodies a simple approach to life, food, fitness and the environment, all as part of your general wellbeing. As the saying goes, too much of anything is not good for you, so we’re all about striking the right balance.
So, what does Balance offer Jersey customers over and above the current wellbeing offering? It all starts with:
With one of the largest range of healthy foods in a dedicated store, conveniently located in the heart of St Helier, we will offer customers the latest products and trends that are competitively priced, empowering them to make healthy choices. There will be an extensive range of gluten and dairy free products, healthy store cupboard essentials, specialist sports nutrition ranges, as well as natural body care products and lots more.
Balance will also challenge established in-store and online experiences, and aim to reach outside of the traditional four walls of our physical store to bring something new to our Jersey customers.
As well as our aim to play an active part in the community, we are proud to also support initiatives such as OLIO, a free app connecting people with their neighbours and with local shops so surplus food and other items can be shared, not thrown away.
We are also part of the Alliance Tesco family which enables us to build on our established track record of delivering great service through an attentive and conscientious team.

Balance will help restore the equilibrium by offering a great choice of quality health foods, at affordable prices.”
Balance will open Monday-Saturday from 8.30am-6.30pm and on Sundays from 10am-4pm.
