Eight of Ogier's private client and trusts team have been named in the Who's Who Legal: Private Client and Trusts guide.
The lawyers – who come from the firm's Cayman, Guernsey, Hong Kong and Jersey offices – are selected by the publication through "comprehensive, independent research" that identifies the top practitioners worldwide in the field of private client and trusts work.
Included in the list are: Rachael Reynolds (Cayman); Simon Davies and Marcus Leese (Guernsey); Lara Mardell (Hong Kong); and Sally Edwards, Edward Mackereth, Steve Meiklejohn and Nigel Sanders (Jersey).
The Who's Who guide singled out the "eminent" Steve Meiklejohn who it noted was "one of the best practitioners in Jersey", Marcus Leese for his "excellent knowledge of offshore trust vehicles" and Rachael Reynolds as an "exceptional lawyer".
Sally Edwards, who heads Ogier's Global Private Client and Trusts team, said: "Any independent endorsement of the team is very welcome, but it is particularly pleasing to see so many from our contentious and non-contentious teams recognised.
"A lot of hard work by all of our teams in each of our jurisdictions – and not just the names listed in this publication - goes into these rankings, and I'm pleased to see that commitment recognised in this way."
