Purple Tuesday is an initiative that encourages organisations to improve customer experience for disabled people and their families by making a commitment to make just one change to improve people’s experience. This year Purple Tuesday is 7th November.

Did you know?

• 75% of disabled customers have, at one time, left a shop, hotel, restaurant or website without making a purchase due to poor access and/or customer service.

• 70% of disabled customers will not return to an organisation after receiving a poor customer service.

• 73% of disabled people prefer brands that allow them to be spontaneous without having to plan before a visit.

On Tuesday 7th November members of the Enable Jersey team will be spending the day at the recently reopened NatWest Bank in Bath Street, St Helier and encourage anybody that wishes to find out how they might do more to support disabled customers to pop in for a conversation anytime between 10am and 3pm.

Can Jersey business’ afford to ignore the needs of over 15% of our island population?

About Us

Enable Jersey are one of only a few local pan–disability charities. We work with islanders who live with autism, sensory, learning, physical, cognitive or emotional disabilities and life-long conditions to remove the barriers that limit disabled them and inspire change.
