Generous Golfers raise over £20,000 for Jersey Cheshire Home

Jersey Cheshire Home is thrilled to announce the tremendous success of its 25th Annual Charity Golf Day, which took place on Friday, May 10th at La Moye Golf Club.

22 teams took part in the event which was sponsored by Hawk with the winning team this year being DAMP Ltd, led by Paul Masterton, a long-time supporter of the home.

Blessed with a day of bright sunshine, participants enjoyed a day filled with friendly competition whilst supporting a very worthy local cause.

"We are delighted by the overwhelming support we received for our 25th Annual Charity Golf Day," said Donna Abel, CEO of Jersey Cheshire Home.

"The generosity of participants, sponsors, and volunteers made this event a tremendous success. We’d like to thank all the local businesses and individuals that kindly donated raffle prizes and a special thank to our hosts La Moye Golf Club kindly donated £50 per player; together all this support enabled us to raise over £20,000.”

Continuing, she said: “We would like to congratulate DAMP Ltd and to thank all the teams who participated, the funds raised will directly impact the lives of our residents, helping us in our mission to enhance the lives of disabled islanders.”
