Nine change management specialists from Greenlight have become the first consultants in the Channel Islands to become certified PRINCE2 Agile practitioners.

PRINCE2 Agile is the world’s most complete agile project management solution, combining the flexibility and responsiveness of agile with the clearly defined framework of PRINCE2.

Change management is a growing speciality, with Channel Island businesses facing a wide range of challenges as they adapt to new regulations, changing consumer demand, and competition from innovative disruptors.

Rebecca Keating, Greenlight’s Head of Talent Management, said: “Greenlight has some of the best trained, and most highly qualified consultants in the Channel Islands. As the first firm to put our talent through this structured Agile programme we are able to bring the latest techniques and best practice to every project we work on.

“PRINCE2 has always been about best practice, using the right tools and techniques in the right way at the right time to achieve the best results, but the drive is for businesses to be able deliver controlled change much quicker and more efficiently. Prince2 Agile has been developed as a robust framework to do just that.”

Standing for Projects in Controlled Environments, PRINCE was originally developed in the late 1980s to manage business and project risk more effectively and has become the worldwide standard for project management. PRINCE2 Agile is an extension tailored for forward-thinking organisations and individuals who may or may not be already benefiting from using PRINCE2.

Eliot Lincoln, CEO Greenlight, said: “Channel Island companies face a number of challenges as they adapt to the impact of Brexit, to new legislation such as CRS and the impending and wide ranging GDPR, and in the increasing activity of mergers, acquisitions and management buy-outs. Managing projects and programmes so that they deliver the change and benefits more quickly and efficiently, is just one way businesses can rise to the challenge and stay ahead of competition.”
