On the 7th May, in front of influential decision-makers from many of the island’s leading businesses and government departments, Greenlight announced the launch of their biggest venture to date - the Greenlight Affinity Programme. The Greenlight Affinity Programme is a framework for the on-going delivery of long-term, strategic benefits to valued clients. It provides consistent engagement with Greenlight via a dedicated relationship manager who has a thorough understanding of their clients' businesses and needs.

Effective collaboration is enabled by nPowr, a secure, cloud-hosted platform which blends technology with Greenlight’s expertise to optimise project delivery.

Jonathan Atkinson, Greenlight’s new CEO, kicked off the event by speaking of the need for the rate of change on the island to keep up with other areas of the world. He said ‘The world is moving faster than it ever has before. The market as a whole has become used to the online world where everything moves at a rapid pace. We (Jersey) need to recognise this and ensure we keep up. This is the reason the Greenlight Affinity Programme was born.’

Reinforcing the importance of effective collaboration was JRFC Head Coach, Harvey Biljon. Taking over responsibility for a team mired in a battle against relegation, Harvey is no stranger to challenges and the importance of teamwork. He talked through the issues he faced in his first 3 months, in particular getting the team to focus on proactive ‘accountable’ behaviours instead of reactive ‘victim’ behaviours. Harvey then spoke about his plans for the future including the creation of a leadership group and a change in culture to focus on professionalism both on and off the field and engagement with the Jersey community. Harvey underlined the importance of positive community relations by taking the opportunity to canvas the audience’s current opinion of the JRFC players via Greenlight’s digital voting system.

Also speaking at the event was Kamran Zamir, Managing Director of Lean Six Sigma experts Game Change with whom Greenlight have partnered to provide Lean Six Sigma training on-island. Kamran gave an overview of Lean Six Sigma, the benefits it brings and how it can be applied to a wide range of different businesses. Kamran commented ‘I’m excited to have teamed up with Greenlight, giving island businesses access to the highest quality Lean Six Sigma training with less disruption and at a lower cost than sending staff to the UK’.

Information regarding the Greenlight Affinity Programme can be found on the Greenlight website or by contacting Jonathan Atkinson (jonathan.atkinson@livethebusiness.com).
