The Hospice fundraising store in St Helier is re-opening this Saturday, 2 April, after a refresh to the walls but what’s on the shelves too.

The store located at 13 Union Street, has been re-fitted to create a bright, modern space to welcome anyone who wants to buy great quality clothing, shoes and accessories in a sustainable way, while supporting a local charity that is close to many of our hearts.

Hospice Shop Manager, Julie Jubb, said: “We have spent the week giving our town shop a bit of TLC and are restocking the rails with a different range. We always have so many amazing donations and we’re pulling out some of our favourites for the St Helier Store. You'll find everything from basic tees and athlesuire to statement pieces and vintage finds. Whether you are young, young at heart or looking for something different, we will have something in store for you.

“We recognise that our high street has changed over the past couple of years with the loss of shops, the growth of internet buying and shopper demand for more sustainable and ethical shopping. We want to help promote reuse and encourage buying local, by offering a great range of preloved clothes and accessories at great prices. The fantastic range of quality stock we have on offer is only possible due to the generous donations we receive, and we are very grateful for this support.”

The St Helier and St Ouen fundraising shops enable Jersey Hospice Care to support people in our community with a life-limiting illness - every donation or item purchased makes a difference in supporting patients receive the personalised care they need.

Both shops are open six days a week, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm (St Ouen donation drop off point closes at 3:30pm).
