JAYF is very excited to announce a brand-new addition to its very popular Open Garden programme. On Sunday 18thJuly, the beautiful gardens of Woodlands Court will open for its benefit for the first time, by kind permission of owners, Jurat and Mrs R Christensen.

Woodlands Court, La Route des Cotils, Grouville JE3 9AP

Woodlands Court stands in an elevated position with views to Mont Orgueil Castle and the Royal Bay of Grouville. The oldest part of the property is believed to date from the 16th century. The current owners have undertaken considerable landscaping works since buying it in 1992. The result is a glorious garden of many parts and for all seasons: in the summer, roses, peonies and hibiscus are particularly abundant.  Don’t miss the beautifully tranquil ‘Hidden Garden’, the Mediterranean and kitchen gardens and an enchanting play area for young children. Neil and Alli Singleton of Birding Tours, Jersey will be leading a nature Walk and Talk at 3pm to enhance the enjoyment of your visit. After you’ve explored the grounds, treat yourself to one of JAYF’s delicious Cream Teas.
