“I was delighted to be offered the role of Head Coach for JBFC U23’s.” Renton said.

“I look forward to joining the coaching staff and developing a new route for our younger players into the 1st Team. I would also like to thank Dave Kennedy and Brian Oliver for their support throughout the selection process.” He adds.

Renton will be working with the existing coaching staff to prepare the newly created side to feature in up to three knock out cups during their first season as a squad. The side adds a unique new development pathway in Jersey for players that hold ambitions to play at a higher level of football, or to prepare them for football in the mainland or even at University.

Jersey Bulls Chairman, Russell Le Feuvre, said. “We are delighted with the appointment of Paul Renton who was selected from a strong group of candidates.

Paul brings a wealth of coaching experience and expertise to the role. His knowledge of youth Football in Jersey coupled with his links with professional clubs across the UK are a real asset to the club.

All of this along with his passion for Football will ensure the team are well prepared for the exciting challenges ahead. We are really pleased to welcome Paul into the club.”
