Jersey Freemasons to present £75,000 to 6 local charities

For their Annual Charity Appeal for this year, Jersey Freemasons have raised in excess of £75,000 for 6 local charities. Local Masons have once again enjoyed a fantastic year of fundraising, which included a variety of events organised and hosted by Jersey Freemasons.

The chosen charities will receive their donations at a presentation at the Masonic Temple, Stopford Road, St. Helier on Thursday 29 th November at 3:45pm. The event will be attended by representatives of all 6 charities (full list included below). The presentations will be made by the Provincial Grand Master of Jersey, Kenneth Rondel.2018 Charity Appeal – List of Charities:

Kenneth Rondel – Provincial Grand Master of Jersey said: “I am very pleased with the generosity of our members and these donations once again prove how the Freemasons of Jersey support their local community in all areas, from the most vulnerable, to those in need and those requiring extra care. We should all be particularly grateful to the Jersey Beekeepers Association who have worked so hard this year to contain the invasion of the Asian Hornets and our small donation we hope will help them in their amazing work.”
