Three of Jersey’s finest restaurants are targeting gastronomes from the UK and Europe with an exclusive Michelin star dining experience.

The restaurants, which are all part of Luxury Jersey Hotels, a consortium of four and five star independent hotels and fine dining restaurants, formed to promote Jersey as an attractive holiday destination, are launching the popular Jersey Michelin Experience for 2016. Visitors will have the opportunity to dine at three Michelin star restaurants, Ocean Restaurant at The Atlantic Hotel, Bohemia Restaurant at the Club Hotel & Spa and Ormer Restaurant by Shaun Rankin.

In addition to the Michelin Experience, the group has also launched the Michelin Safari for food lovers closer to home.  The experience, which is available for up to 20 guests, sees diners enjoying a course in each restaurant, with paired wines chosen by the sommelier at each location.  For those who don’t wish to stay overnight but would still like to enjoy the Michelin Safari experience, transfer by private jet can be arranged through Private Fly.

Patrick Burke, owner and Managing Director of The Atlantic Hotel and Ocean Restaurant and Chairman of Luxury Jersey Hotels, said: "In recent years Jersey has developed an outstanding reputation for its exceptional produce and fine dining experiences. By teaming up with fellow Michelin star holders, Bohemia Restaurant at the Club Hotel & Spa and Ormer Restaurant by Shaun Rankin, we are able to offer clients one of a kind dining experiences. We have relaunched both the Michelin Experience and the Michelin Safari for 2016 because they proved extremely popular in previous years."

Lawrence Huggler, owner of Bohemia Restaurant at the Club Hotel & Spa and also a Director of Luxury Jersey Hotels, said: "The Michelin Experience and Michelin Safari must be two of the most exciting packages on offer anywhere for food lovers. The island of Jersey is renowned for food including the famous Jersey Royals, Jersey Milk and some of the best seafood and shellfish in the world, so the chance to eat in three Michelin Star restaurants back to back, either as one meal or over three nights can’t be beaten in my mind so we are delighted to be able to offer these amazing packages for the fourth year in a row."

Having held a Michelin star at Ocean Restaurant for the past 10 years, Executive Head Chef Mark Jordan is renowned for crafting carefully created dishes which celebrate the quality of local Jersey produce. Renowned chef Shaun Rankin launched Ormer in 2013 and after only four months, was awarded a Michelin star and has been heralded with accolades ever since.  Head Chef Steve Smith at Bohemia, has held a Michelin Star for over 15 years from the age of just 24.

Guests on the Jersey Michelin Experience can enjoy a three, four or seven night stay at The Atlantic Hotel or The Club Hotel & Spa, with three dinners over the course of their stay at each of the island’s Michelin starred restaurants.  Guests who opt for the four or the seven-night stay will also enjoy dinner at Mark Jordan at the Beach, a sister restaurant to Ocean Restaurant at The Atlantic Hotel, which boasts Jersey’s only Michelin Bib Gourmand, a mark of good quality and good value food.
