Jersey War Tunnels will be hosting its Christmas market from Friday 30th November till Sunday 2nd December between 10am and 5pm.
Jersey War Tunnels is inviting locals and visitors to enjoy a wide variety of festive stalls, food and live entertainment at its site in St Lawrence. Santa will also be making a special appearance each day at 4pm to collect the letters that children have written and posted at the event.
Kathy Bechelet, operations manager at Jersey War Tunnels, said: ‘Our first Christmas market last year was a great success and we’re planning for it to be even bigger and better this year, with new stalls selling a wide range of items. We’ve invested a significant amount of money into the exhibition in recent years, including this year’s cutting-edge interactive touch wall located in the new Fortress Island exhibition. We hope visitors to the Christmas market will also take up our special entry offer to take a look around the tunnels before it closes for the winter.’
‘The Christmas market is also a great opportunity to showcase the versatility of the Tunnels as an event venue. It is a fantastic location for many types of events from corporate get togethers to team building and parties. With ample parking, the visitor centre, café, war trail, garden of reflection, cinema, escape rooms, pottery studio and gift shop we can accommodate any type of event.’
Entry to the Christmas market will be free. Attendees will also be able to take advantage of a special two for one entry offer for the Jersey War Tunnels exhibition, which is being opened especially for the Christmas event as it closes to the general public for the winter on 25thNovember 2018. The Jersey War Tunnels exhibition will reopen on 1stMarch 2019.
