JT is bringing Christmas spirit to the High Street with FREE in-store gift wrapping service to raise money for the company’s chosen charity of the year – the Jersey Alzheimer’s Association.
In the lead up to Christmas, JT employees from across the company have volunteered to gift-wrap customers’ tech gifts free of charge in exchange for a small donation to the Jersey Alzheimer’s Association which is JT’s chosen charity for this year.
Tamara O’Brien JT’s Head of Customer Experience said “This is a great initiative which was thought up by our staff to help raise more money for our chosen charity. We’ve already raised £8,000 this year and we really hope customers will take advantage of this. People are giving up their own time to do the wrapping and we hope it’s a real success.”
Natasha Marriott, JT Marketing Assistant, said: “It’s great to volunteer to join our customer service team in King Street throughout the Christmas period. I really enjoy speaking with customers and helping them make their Christmas gift extra special. Even if my bows are a bit wonky at times”
The gift wrapping will take place near the entrance of the shop, where staff will be ready with wrapping paper and plenty of festive ribbon.
Mark Blamey, Manager of the Jersey Alzheimer’s Association, said: “We are all so busy at this time of year and wrapping gifts can be a daunting task. I hope shoppers take up the opportunity to get their items gift-wrapped by JT and in doing so raise some money for the Jersey Alzheimer’s Association this Christmas.”
The Christmas gift wrapping runs every Thursday 5 -8 pm and every Saturday and Sunday 11 – 4 pm, up until the 22nd December.
