Lady Dalton, Patron of the Presidents, last night paid a visit to Helvetia youth unit at St John Ambulance Headquarters in Midvale Road.
During her visit, she met Badgers and Cadets aged between 6 and 17 years old. Lady Dalton was given a demonstration of casualty simulation by the Cadets, whilst the Badgers showed off their knowledge of the human body by creating skeletons.
She was also introduced to the volunteer youth leaders who run the activities every week during term time.
Youth Development Officer for St John Ambulance, Simon Blackmore commented “It was fantastic to welcome Lady Dalton to visit St John Ambulance and spend time with our Cadets and Badgers. She also had the opportunity to meet our volunteer Youth Leaders who give up their time to run our youth units”.
