There are only a few days left for Jersey residents to bid for free tickets to a host of fantastic days out on the island.
The first ever Jersey Big Weekend sponsored by JT takes place on 28th and 29th March 2020, and over 40 Jersey attractions have donated tickets and activities to the event, including Jersey Heritage, Jersey Zoo, Jump Jersey, Absolute Adventures, Voisins, WindMadness, Jersey Walk and Kayak Adventures to mention just a few...
Jersey residents have until midnight on the 8th March to visit www.jerseybigweekend.co.uk and bid for any of the hundreds of tickets up for grabs.
Organised by Visit Jersey and sponsored by JT, the event is designed to encourage islanders to rediscover the amazing things to see and do on their island - and to spread the word about them.
Jersey residents can bid for available tickets to as many attractions as they wish. Two tickets per household will be allocated by ballot after 8th March to the lucky winners (some family tickets will be available as well).
Keith Beecham, CEO for Visit Jersey said:
“In partnership with industry, we are proud to add the Big Weekend to Jersey’s growing event portfolio. The Jersey Big Weekend which has been sponsored by JT will inspire islanders to discover everything the island has to offer year-round. It is a fantastic way to kick-start the tourist season, but it’s also a great way to reward Jersey’s residents with a great day out, for free.”
“It really is as good as it sounds – every islander over the age of 18 can bid for free tickets at www.jerseybigweekend.co.uk until 8th March. The winners are selected by ballot so there’s plenty of reasons to bid for as many different attractions and activities as possible. You never know what you might win, and how much fun you could be having on 28th and 29th March!”
“Remember to share your stories and pictures on social media using #JTjerseybigweekend! The best selfie will win a newly released Samsung Galaxy A51 handset courtesy of the events sponsor JT.”
Sponsored by JT, Visit Jersey are working in partnership with destination management specialists Go To Places to deliver the first of many successful Big Weekend events on the island.
