Located in one of Jersey’s most picturesque valleys, it is the only surviving working watermill on the Island. Surrounded by water meadows, a visit to the mill will give you a fascinating insight into Jersey’s agricultural and industrial heritage.
The Mill will be open on Saturdays only again this year. Opening times will be as follows: 10am - 4pm. Admission costs £3 but is free for children under 10 and National Trust members. Discover why Jersey exported flour to the Americas, learn about the meaning of ‘lé no1’ or the resurgence of milling during the Island’s Occupation in the Second World War.
The Mill Shop, which sells flour newly milled on the premises, has been completely re-stocked with a range of imaginative and well-priced gifts. Tea and coffee available all season. Le Moulin de Tesson Steam Engine Room and Wheel – after Le Moulin de Quétivel, why not take the peaceful woodland trail to Le Moulin de Tesson to view the Steam Engine Room and its substantial double-width waterwheel. Discover how this fascinating relic of industrial archaeology used to operate.
