With temperatures soaring again and plenty of sunshine forecast L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is making the most of the fabulous Jersey weather this summer while ensuring it has guests’ SPF covered from sunrise to sunset!
The AA Four Red Star hotel on St Brelade’s Bay has teamed up with Comfort Zone, an ethical, family-owned Italian company specialising in spa skincare products, to offer guests a range of luxurious treatments they can enjoy as they soak up some rays.
Every day the hotel’s talented team of spa therapists are on hand on the stunning al fresco decked area next to the beach to help get skin beach ready and offer some sun safety advice, as well as helping to repair and hydrate the body after sun exposure.
Sun safety is really important to the team at the beachside hotel who work closely with Comfort Zone and their charity of choice, Donna Annand Melanoma Charity to raise awareness of the effects of the sun and the dangers of skin cancer.
Commenting on the treatments, Matt Riley, Hand Picked Hotels Interim Health Club & Spa Manager, Jersey said, “Our al fresco spa offers the ultimate in relaxation and these fantastic treatments are the perfect way to unwind and safely make the most of this glorious weather.
“We are really fortunate to have such a fantastic beachside location with stunning views over the bay but we take our responsibility to help keep our guests safe in the sun very seriously. Thanks to our charity of choice DAMC we also offer a range of sun safe goods including wrist bands which help our guests keep track of the UV rays.”
There are a range of Comfort Zone treatments available and the spa team have factored in the ageing effects of the sun with a quick 15 minute anti-ageing cleanse or an SPF cleanse along with other treats including Indian head or back, neck and shoulder massage. The therapists will also shape and polish fingers and toes to get them beach ready.
