The Executive & Personal Assistants Association (EPAA) has successfully secured the expertise of Jersey-based PA, Nikki Holland.
Founder of the PA Network in Jersey, Nikki’s wide-reaching experience, her collaborative style and extensive network of contacts within the industry are what really appealed to the EPAA committee, the professional body for Executive and Personal Assistants across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Effective from 1st January 2018, Nikki has taken on this voluntary role as EPAA committee member and, in doing so, is helping shape the future of the profession, whilst raising its profile and adding a voice to Executive and Personal Assistants across the regions.
Nikki has first-hand experience in the profession, most recently as PA to the former Senior Partner at PwC in Jersey. She founded the Jersey PA Network to encourage the local PA community to get together and collaborate more and has successfully rolled out a number of well-attended workshops, fun social events and inspirational forums, with industry-leading speakers such Dr Tessa Hartmann CBE on the Island since its launch in June 2016.
In fact, the next Jersey event Nikki has organised is already firmly in the diary for Thursday 8 March, which coincides with International Women’s Day and includes a panel of highly influential and inspirational women such as Dr Tess Hartmann, Catherine Best, Emma Martin, Lauren Burnett, as well as event sponsor PwC’s Lisa McClure and Leyla Yildirim.
Commenting on Nikki’s appointment, Chair of the EPAA committee Victoria Darragh said: “We’re really excited about welcoming Nikki on board. Her diplomatic skills and her natural affinity for cultivating relationships will be a real asset to the committee. She brings a wealth of exceptional qualities, experience and skills to the table and I’m fully confident that Nikki will help steer the EPAA to even greater success in the future.”
Nikki Holland added: “Firmly establishing a PA Network in Jersey has been one of my personal goals for some time now and it makes me very proud to see all the hard work behind the scenes finally come to fruition over the past year. I’m genuinely privileged to have been approached by the EPAA to join the committee and hope that my ‘can-do’ attitude and passion for improving the working lives of PAs, and those they support, will help take the EPAA from strength to strength over the coming years.”
