NatWest International has today announced a new partnership with Community Savings, a local charity dedicated to promoting financial inclusion in Jersey.
The charity and bank will be working together this year to host a series of community drop-in sessions at NatWest International in Library Place, offering invaluable support to individuals facing financial difficulties.
Community Savings, known for its commitment to providing free and confidential budgeting advice and practical assistance, will host quarterly drop-in sessions at the NatWest International Market Stall. The sessions will run from 10am to 2pm on 24th January, 24th April, 24th July, and 23rd October, providing an accessible avenue for the public to seek assistance.
Richard Steel, Head of Retail Coverage, NatWest International, said:
"We are thrilled to collaborate with Community Savings in bringing these drop-in sessions to our Library Place branch. This initiative aligns with our core values of community support and financial well-being, and we look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing financial challenges."
Community Savings will offer a range of services, including setting up basic accounts, savings accounts, budgeting, mentoring support, and emergency funding. The sessions aim to empower individuals experiencing financial challenges and reintegrate them into mainstream banking.
NatWest International personal bankers will also be present, offering additional support for those looking to make the transition into mainstream banking. This joint effort underscores a commitment to holistic financial empowerment and aims to create a positive impact on the community.
Stephen Reilly, CEO at Community Savings, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating:
“We are excited to embark on this collaborative journey with NatWest International. By joining forces, we can amplify our impact in promoting financial inclusion and providing essential support to individuals in our community. Together, we believe in empowering individuals to overcome financial challenges and build a more secure financial future.”
The drop-in sessions are open to the public, free of charge, and emphasise confidentiality. NatWest International encourages anyone seeking budgeting advice or assistance to visit these sessions and take the first step towards a more secure financial future.
